A Possibility in Education for the Heart of St. Johns
January 2008 Update: PPS denied the New Harvest School charter application in December, as it did the other three applicants. Therefore, we are sad to announce that New Harvest will not open in 2008 as desired.
I want to personally thank all of the community supporters who gave many parents hope by joining with us in our attempt to create an exceptional school option for St Johns. Many North Portland Business Association members signed on as did other parents and professionals. Perhaps time or money commitments by supporters would have helped give us a better chance in our planning stage and in convincing the board. But we did the best we could! We finshed what we set out to do!
